Aavasaksa Ski Resort
The Aavasaksa Ski Resort is located about 10 km north of the centre of Ylitornio. Aavasaksa has one ski lift and 3 slopes. The longest slope is about one kilometre in length, and the height difference is 115 metres. The slopes are maintained by the town of Ylitornio.

Tickets and rental equipment are available near the lift at the bottom of the slopes.
There is also a new cross-country skiing trail around the hill.
